Riding the Galactic Trail is so great listening to it 50 times in a row isn’t a chore at all. :D

Absolutely true. Molly’s comment during the Nerd HQ panel that she goes around singing it prompted my Brain to make demands.

This is great!! Your voice is awesome! Also, just FYI we have the lyrics to ~~all the songs~~ on the wiki, if you need ‘em in the future :)

Thanks! Heh, I should’ve checked the Wiki for lyrics. Ah well, it was an excuse to listen to the song fifty times in a row.

Cover of “Ridin’ the Galactic Trail” from the Thrilling Adventure Hour serial, Sparks Nevada: Marshal on Mars. Music by Andy Paley (and no doubt mistranscribed by me), Lyrics by Acker and Blacker. This version is from She Blinded Me With Technology. My stand-in Mercury and I couldn’t agree on a key, so just me singing, though it’s meant to be a duet.

My Brain was unwilling to write the song we had to write for this week, so I made it write one first, then spent some time figuring this out (or coming close, I hope). Thanks to Mercury for calling out for an A chord. This is transposed down a step into G. Still not the ideal key.

I made Capoeira on consecutive turns. The first for a bingo, the second because I couldn’t resist the novelty. Also, you can sing “Capoeira Capoeira” to the tune of “Rock me, Amadeus.” You’re welcome.

I love that they both look like cardboard cutouts. Crap. Now I want MEJ and PFT standees.

So good! Spousal Unit and I were talking with our non–Pratchett reading friends who also saw it, and they liked it a lot, too. Last chance, if you’re in or near Chicago.
